Creator Chronicles Party composition ranks
Three seats for the swamp, and a second triangle so the lab never idles.
Hidden Swamp is a three-person dungeon at levels 1–4. That number is not a suggestion. New guild masters burn the first hour inviting four damage dealers who all want to stand in the same puddle, then wonder why the healer quit. This page ranks opening party shapes for Creator Chronicles using wiki opinion from the demo and CBT. The full Steam build on 14 September 2026 will add Party Strategy potions, ranking seasons, and Hall of Battle as asynchronous PvP. None of that replaces the boring rule that still wins the first cave: one tank, one healer, one damage seat.
You can run parties in parallel. That is the real skill ceiling in the village, not a hidden rotation. While group A crawls Hidden Swamp, group B should be gathering, brewing, or knocking on a second normal dungeon. Profession level equals member level, so a swamp clear is also an Alchemy tick if Seran is in the party. A first clear of Hidden Swamp grants a village trait point. Protect that point. Do not gamble it on a joke composition because a friend said Rogues look faster.
S — the swamp triangle
Warrior / Priest / Hunter is the default S comp. Warrior holds, Priest spends mana, Hunter shoots from a tile that is not the front. Named members already map onto this shape: Mona or Confidence as tank, Lettuce or Seran as healer, Kanji or Joram as damage if you have not found a Hunter yet. Kanji is a cook DPS and Joram is a fishing DPS, so they are not theoretically perfect Hunters, but they are real people who will stand in the third seat without exploding.
If your Hunter invite is late, Warrior / Priest / Mage is still S-minus. Mage wants potions sooner. Brew before you brag.
A — parallel village comps
Once the burned plots are repaired, you should not have one party. You should have a swamp team and a lab team. The lab team can be Knight / Priest / Druid or Warrior / Druid / Mage. The point is not beauty. The point is that Herbalism and Alchemy keep leveling while the first group is inside the cave. Two Priests in the guild is not a waste; it is how you stop the only healer from being in two places.
Knight / Priest / Hunter is A when you already like Knight better than Warrior. It is slightly more gear-hungry. Feed Blacksmithing defense onto the Knight and stop swapping their weapon after every auction.
B — fun, then expensive
Warrior / Priest / Rogue works on Beginner, where monsters sit at 60% stats. It becomes a teaching tool on Adventurer. It becomes a resignation letter on Conqueror. Priest / Mage / Warlock is a caster pile that looks clever in the tavern screenshot and then dies to the first pack that ignores the missing tank. If you want to learn those jobs, park them on the second party and keep the first party boring.
Double tank with no dedicated healer is a common demo mistake. Hidden Swamp is not so short that you can skip a Priest.
Difficulty changes the grade, not the seats
- Beginner: you can show a Rogue or Warlock the cave. Still bring a tank and a healer.
- Adventurer: play the S triangle. Use battle logs after every wipe. The combat guide exists for this.
- Conqueror: level reset plus permanent leave. Do not take B comps here until the village has spare members and spare gear. Read the mood page so you understand why people quit after a death.
Buffs, potions, and the full build
The launch package adds Party Strategy potions and a Tavern for mood. Those tools will shuffle this list. They will not invent a fourth seat in Hidden Swamp. Plan the village so the alchemy lab actually produces, using the village planner and the profession ranks. Cooking and Fishing matter because mine-unlock food is a party problem as much as a plot problem.
Hall of Battle will let you pit a trained party against parties raised by other guild masters. That is asynchronous competition, not a reason to delete your campaign tank the night before 14 September. Copy a swamp triangle first.
A simple invite order
- Tank who can also smith or mine (Mona, Confidence).
- Healer who can herb or alchemize (Lettuce, Seran).
- Damage (Hunter if you see one; Kanji or Joram if you do not).
- A second healer or tank so parallel parties exist.
Put names on the roster. If you are still before the first invite, use getting started.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for new guild masters.
What is the minimum party for Hidden Swamp?
Three members: tank, healer, damage. The dungeon guide covers the level 1–4 cave and the trait point.
Why run two parties at once?
Profession level follows member level. A second group keeps Alchemy moving. See profession ranks.
Can I clear the swamp with three DPS?
On Beginner, maybe once. On Adventurer and Conqueror, no. Use the class list and keep a Warrior.
Do Party Strategy potions change this page?
They arrive in the full build. Until then, brew with the village guide and plan seats in the party planner.
Is Hall of Battle a second party slot?
No. It is asynchronous PvP after launch. Campaign routing stays on this page and on combat.
